Human Design

Relationship Readings, Analysis & Guidance

You and your partner have had this argument before. You could both recite it. It starts somewhere small and ends where it always ends, and afterward neither of you can quite explain how you got there. Or perhaps there is no argument anymore, only a politeness you never used to have. And you still love each other, which is what makes it so confusing.

Usually neither of you is reacting to the other’s character. You are reacting to the other’s reaction. One goes quiet, which the other reads as not caring, so they press; the first reads that as an attack, so they go quieter. From inside, it looks exactly like the other person’s personality.

Human Design can make that loop visible in a way almost nothing else can. Two charts side by side show where you each take in the other, where you amplify each other, where one of you has been living on the other’s energy without either of you knowing it.

I work with couples in two ways. You can come for a connection reading, to meet your designs together for the first time. You can come for ongoing guidance, to actually live differently with what you already know. Or you can start with one and move into the other.

Either way, this isn’t a lecture on channels and centers, and it isn’t a verdict on whether you are compatible. It is a conversation about the two of you, your story, your patterns, and what keeps happening between you, read through the lens of both your designs, with someone who is on neither side.

Option 1 — A Connection Reading: Meeting your designs together

Maybe one of you already knows your chart, and the other has been politely indulging it. Maybe neither of you knows much at all, but you have both started to wonder why the same thing keeps happening between you, and whether there is a way to see it that doesn’t involve deciding whose fault it is.

This is for you if you are new to looking at your relationship through Human Design. You don’t need to arrive fluent, and you certainly don’t need to agree on whether you believe in it. What you do need is a shared curiosity about what keeps happening between you: why one of you feels drained by exactly what energizes the other, why certain conversations always end the same way, why you can be so close and still keep missing each other.

Two sessions, not one. A connection reading happens across two conversations, together. In the first, we meet your designs side by side. I’ll show you what stands out most in how your charts meet, and we’ll talk about how that shows up in your life together, as each of you tells it. I need to hear both your stories, and how they differ, before I can say anything true about what is happening between you.

Between the two sessions, I take time to sit with what came up, because insight about two people takes even longer to settle than insight about one. In the second, we return to what surfaced, go further into the parts that mattered most to each of you, and refine what was still rough the first time.

You will not get a compatibility score. I won’t tell you whether you are right for each other. I will show you what you have each been doing to the other, mostly without meaning to, and what becomes possible once you can both see it.

Option 2 — Guidance for Couples: Building real intimacy

This is for couples who already know their designs, sometimes very well, and find that knowing them has not changed as much between you as you hoped. You can name each other’s Type and Authority. You may even have used the chart in an argument. And still the same loop keeps running.

We work on the gap between understanding each other’s design and actually meeting each other in the moment, while it is happening. Catching the loop earlier. Hearing what the other one means rather than what you have always assumed they meant. Letting the guarding drop, a little at a time.

Guidance is ongoing and conversational, at the pace the slower of you needs. Most of it happens together. Sometimes it helps for one or both of you to have a session alone as well, and there are two ways in: straight into joint sessions, or one individual session each first.

If we mix individual and joint sessions, we will agree together, out loud, in the first session, what happens to anything said alone. Some couples want everything open, so that nothing said privately is off limits in the joint room. Others prefer individual sessions to stay private. Both work. What doesn’t work is leaving it unspoken and later finding out you each assumed something different.

How the two options fit together

If you’re new to looking at your relationship through Human Design, a connection reading is the natural place to start. If you both already know your designs well, guidance is probably the better fit, and you are welcome to begin there directly.

Two sessions are enough to see what happens between you. They are not enough to change it. So, if a reading opens something you want to keep working with, guidance is where that continues. There is no pressure to carry on, and no awkwardness if you don’t. The reading stands complete on its own.

What tends to change over time is fairly concrete. The loop becomes visible, and once you can both name it, it stops being one person’s character and becomes something the two of you are doing, which is something that can be interrupted. You start catching it earlier: not at the end of the argument, but in the middle, and eventually near the beginning. And the guarding drops. You stop rehearsing sentences before you say them.

I should also say honestly that not every couple stays together. Sometimes what this work makes possible is for two people to finally say the truth, and the truth is that it is over. That is not a failure of the work. It is a good ending instead of a long, slow one.

How I work

I hold what I’d call a heretical view of Human Design: the chart itself was never the destination. Two charts even less so. They are a precise, beautiful set of directions pointing at something underneath them, which is how each of you relates to yourself, and therefore to each other.

So, I don’t recite channel keynotes at couples. I listen for where your designs and your life together meet, and I point to that. And I’m at least as interested in who each of you is not in this relationship — the roles you have taken on, the conditioning you have been living out on each other — as in any description of who you are.

I am on neither side. Not secretly, not slightly, not in the way you are both quietly watching for in the first twenty minutes. If one of you has come mainly to keep the peace, I won’t hold that against you, and you will not be outnumbered in the room. No one will decide who is right.

I’m completing my professional analyst certification with the IHDS, and I’m a certified Living Your Design guide and Gene Keys guide, with training in Vedic astrology. I’m also a certified life and relationship coach, mindfulness-based psychotherapist, and grief counselor, which is a large part of why these conversations go where they go.

Why I might not be the right person

Both of you have to be here at least a little willingly. One of you being keener than the other is completely normal. Being brought against your will is different, and if that is where you are, it is far better to say it out loud in the first session than to pretend.

We go at the pace of whoever needs it slower, and we don’t push. But I don’t leave things unsaid to keep the room comfortable. When something is being avoided, I will name it gently, and only when there is enough safety in the room to hold it.

One situation is when joint sessions are not the right setting at all. Where there is violence, intimidation, or a pattern of one person controlling the other, couples work is not safe, because one person cannot speak freely in front of the other. That is not a judgment about anyone. It means the work has to happen separately, with the right support, and I will help you figure out where to find it.

    What people say

“Daisy shares honestly from her own experiences and looks at situations with great understanding. I am 100% certain she only wants the best for the people she works with.” — Charlotte Boogaerts, Belgium

“It was like a conversation between friends. Simple but full of information; simple but so powerful. You don’t pretend to have all the answers, and I also appreciate how you investigate your own experiences. For me, that is true mastery.” — Ivana Kraljic Sioban, Croatia

    Ready to begin?

One of you writes to me. It doesn’t have to be the one who is keener, and it doesn’t have to be agreed on first. Tell me a little about what is happening between you, and whether you are thinking of a connection reading, guidance, or are not sure yet. It is fine if your partner has not read a word of this page.
I’ll respond myself, and we’ll see together whether this is the right fit.
